90s Nightclub Vibes and Underground Uniqueness

Last week, my Music Monday playlist was all about Disco. It was a celebration of a new year and a milestone in my life that I was excited to share with all of you.

For this week’s playlist, I wanted to keep that momentum with another disco-inspired set list—but with a bit of a twist.

This week’s Music Monday playlist is inspired by the revival of disco beats in 90s and 10s dancehall music. From Tinie Tempah to Azelaia Banks to Rihanna, artists are pumping out synthesized house beats full of woodwind melodies and four-count baselines that would make even Giorgio Moroder proud.

After visiting Ichicoro Ane last week, I was craving some music with nightclub vibes and underground uniqueness. I think this list does the trick.
